Year 1 Curriculum Update
This term we've been scientists in Year One at William Byrd! Each week we have been learning different scientific enquiry skills, with different investigations to help us find out if our predictions are correct.
Some of our investigations have been, does a plant grow better in the sun or in the dark? What material makes the best slide? How far can sound travel? And what material makes the best umbrella?
Each investigation we've made a prediction, collected our equipment, completed our fair test, recorded data and explained our results. We've had so much fun!
