Zoo Lab visited our Nursery and Reception children on the 20th June. Some amazing creatures came to visit us and we learnt lots of amazing facts about mini beasts. The children had the opportunity to hold a snake, an African land snail, a cockroach and even a very friendly terantula!
The battle of Britain Bunker in Uxbridge played a crucial role in the defence of the United Kingdom in its darkest hour in 1940. Our Year 6 children had an amazing time on their trip and learnt many new facts on the day.

Year 6 enjoyed a day at Hayes Hawks on 22nd May perfecting their BMX riding skills on the ramps and chicanes of the Hawks circuit. Despite many concerns from those watching as well as the riders themselves, all pupils surpassed their expectations and were thrilled to have ridden around the circuit and the surrounding grounds.
William Byrd celebrated the royal wedding in style on 18th May 2018 by coming into school wearing red, blue and white or clothes fit for a royal wedding.
Our Reception children had an amazing time exploring all the wildlife animals at Cotswold Wildlife Park.
Staff and students pulled out all the stops and put in a brilliant effort last week to support Sport Relief. Mr Baker led the Sport Relief campaign this year and it has been a huge success.

On the 13 March Year 5 went to the River and Rowing Museum.
Our Year 5 children have been working on Harry Potter as part of their class text for their imaginative writing unit and enjoyed a visit to ‘The Making of Harry Potter’ which really helped to fully immerse children in the sights and sounds of Harry Potter’s world and put their learning into context
