Anti-Bullying Assembly

This week our Anti–Bullying Ambassadors introduced themselves to the school and delivered an Anti-Bullying assembly.

The Anti-Bullying Ambassadors informed their peers how to identify bullying behaviour and spoke about the different types of bullying, verbal, indirect and physical. They explained what a bystander and upstander is and did a fantastic job spreading the message to be an upstander who supports and reports. Some good advice was shared on what to do to support yourself if you experience bullying behaviour.

Different scenarios were shared to assess the children’s knowledge of identifying is it bullying behaviour or is rude and unkind behaviour. Bullying behaviour is repeated negative behaviour that is intended to make others feel upset, uncomfortable, or unsafe.
