Bird Feeders
This week in Reception we have been connecting with nature as part of Mental Health Week.
We have been creating bird feeders to invite more bird species into our garden.
There are many therapeutic benefits of birdwatching which reduces incidences of depression, anxiety and stress. Being outside with nature has also a great impact on our well-being. The fresh air clears our mind, improves focus, increases imagination and creativity, reduces anxiety and aids sleep.
