Shopping Experience

The children bought sweets for their friends as a Christmas treat. For many of our children this was the very first independent shopping experience. The children had to choose something, pay for the item, receive the change and receipt. The trip was also an excellent opportunity to talk about familiar places and buildings in our local community and the importance of how to cross the road safely
