Friendship Week
The whole school took part in a variety of activities during Friendship Week celebrating kindness and friendship at William Byrd.
These included making Kindness and Respect paper chains, creating a year group display of the sun with 'rays' on which each child explained how they are respectful, having a whole school playtime, a poster competition and much, much more.
Staff were involved in Secret Friend Week. Each member of staff had been allocated a 'secret friend' and did small acts of kindness over the week to brighten their day!
