Year 2 had an amazing time visiting Odds Farm Park. They got to see many different animals, feed and pet the goats, watch the pigs, say hello to the chickens, and enjoy the views of the farm from a magnificent but bumpy tractor ride. The children also got to meet the cows up close and personal, while also meeting the new 4-week-old calves. We had the most beautiful weather. After lunch, it was time to cool down in the water splash area and enjoy the AC in the indoor soft play area!
The time has finally arrived for us to celebrate the incredible work of our Year 1 to 6 children!
The Reception children had an amazing time participating in a trip to Ruislip Lido. The children took part in a workshop at the Lido Woodland Centre where they learnt how to recognise common trees and different minibeasts. They searched for different insects under logs and tree stumps and watched them race.
A huge thank you to all the parents of nursery children (from this year and last year) for their voluntary contributions towards the purchase of a new shed that we have transformed into a sand pit! We introduced it to the children last week, and they absolutely love playing in it. It's amazing to overhear the beautiful conversations the children have while they're having fun pretending to be at the beach.
During this term, children in Reception learnt about Vincent van Gogh and created sketches, drawings, paintings, and collages inspired by his famous "Sunflowers."
On Thursday 9th May, Year 1 visited Kew Gardens. This term we are learning all about plants. So we went along to Kew Gardens to have a look at the different plants.
On Tuesday 30th April, Y3 had a visit from the Hillingdon Road Safety and School Travel Team.
Year 2 put on a show-stopping performance for their assembly this week, taking us through the adventures of King Henry VIII's life, reign, succession, and marriages.
We are incredibly grateful for the support of our caring and generous local community. Over the past few weeks, we have received numerous donations from families and local businesses. Your contributions and donations make a huge difference to us and our children. We express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has donated so generously. We would like to extend our sincerest thanks to the Santos Family for providing chocolate bunnies to all the children in our nursery. Because of your kindness, the children will have the most enjoyable egg hunt.
Sincerely,
The Nursery Team
We had a great afternoon on Friday 22nd March showcasing multiplication knowledge in the KS2 Multiplication Masters competition! Well done to all of the finalists and congratulations to our winners: Azaan, Joshberg, Aadhya and Purva (and Miss Naulls)!
